Hi, I’m Noor! I’m a woodworker, professor, and the founder of Noor Wood Design, an Atlanta-based small business where I create handcrafted wood pieces that combine beauty, utility, and permanence.

I work primarily with Baltic plywood and exotic hardwoods like Purple Heart, Padauk, Walnut, African Mahogany, Curly Maple, and Sapele to craft intricate geometric patterns. What inspires me most is the endless possibilities of these patterns—how lines, angles, and shapes can come together to form something truly unique.

While functionality is always a focus, my true intention is to bring warmth and character to your space. Working with wood is my passion; I’m captivated by its texture, smell, and sound. In the shop—designing, cutting, assembling, sanding, and finishing—time seems to disappear. Each piece reflects that love and care, making it a meaningful addition to your home or a thoughtful gift.

Originally from Jordan, I’ve lived in Atlanta for 20 years and proudly call it home with my husband and two boys. When I’m not in the classroom or the shop, you’ll often find me cycling, running, or spending time with loved ones.
